‘Gogo’ dies after trip to Uganda

Rwandan gospel singer Musabyimana Gloriose, AKA Gogo, has passed away in Rwanda after returning from a trip in Uganda.

According to a medical report from Kyegera Doctors Center, which IGIHE has seen, Gogo died on the night of September 3, 2025 after a period of illness.

On August 28, 2025, Gogo traveled to Uganda with her team to attend a gospel event in Mbarara from August 29–31.

Shortly after their return to Rwanda, Gogo’s health deteriorated. Friends and family initially thought it was a minor condition since she had battled similar illnesses before. But sadly, her condition worsened, and despite being taken to the hospital, she passed away that very night
